We’ve had some mysterious teasers in the past, but Renault’s latest release is one of the most enigmatic yet. Comprising just a few abstract shapes that could be anything from the bonnet of a car to a new pavement design, it’s teasing Renault’s new concept car – the Renault Trezor, which will get its full debut at the Paris Motor Show.
Renault says the Trezor will debut a new brand design cycle – closing off the current Renault design language which features across its range. It’s a successor to the amazing Renault DeZir concept (below) which debuted in 2010 and spawned the current Renault brand identity, with design centred around a bold nose and an enormous Renault diamond.
‘Diamond’ might not be too far off the mark – Renault says the name ‘Trezor’ ‘conjures up the image of a prized, multifaceted object to be discovered and explored. The ‘Z’ in the name also refers to its all-electric ‘Z.E.’ powertrain in the car.
The Renault Trezor concept will go on display tomorrow morning at the Paris Motor Show and we'll bring you all the details the moment the covers come off.
