Kia is gearing up for the launch of an all-new performance car, which will make its full debut at January's North American International Auto Show in Detroit this January.
The South Korean manufacturer is being extremely coy with its new model, but has launched a dedicated teaser website for it, which promises to be regularly updated with videos and pictures right up until the car is publicly revealed the night before the 2017 Detroit Motor Show kicks off.

The new model and all the teaser material surrounding it paints a picture of Kia's ambitions to move up in the auto industry and occupy a more premium sector of the market – something it has begun to do with cars like the Sportage and the latest Optima.
"The curve ahead is all about potential. The potential to clip every apex, and consume every straight. To take on each twist and turn with agility, speed, and progressive design", says the company in its launch material.
The first teaser video for Kia's elaborate reveal takes place at the Nurburgring. There's not much to make out out aside from the car's instruments and its exhaust note. Nonetheless, the car's presence on the hallowed German circuit is a serious statement of intent from Kia.
For now the teaser video and the scant info posted to Kia's dedicated website is all we know, but the firm promises new teasers throughout December, so we should learn plenty more soon.
