Bentley has revealed the Bentayga Mulliner – a new flagship version of the firm’s luxury SUV modified by its Mulliner in-house personal customisation wing.
It’s the second tine Mulliner has turned its expertise to the 6.0-litre W12 powered Bentley off-roader, following on from last year’s fly fishing themed edition. Again the changes are limited to unique design alterations – it still has 600bhp and is capable of 0-62mph in 4.1 seconds and a supercar baiting top speed of 187mph.

Bentley draws attention to the new optional two-tone paint finish, which will be available across the Bentayga range this April. The bonnet, pillars and roof can be painted in a contrasting shade to the rest of the body, creating what Bentley says is a “floating” look to the cabin.
In addition to the two-tone paintjob, the Bentayga Mulliner comes with body-coloured lower bodywork with chromed lower grilles. It also features unique badging, and rides on new 22-inch seven-spoke wheels with floating effect wheel centres.
The Mulliner treatment continues in the cabin, and the two-tone theme persists – the front and rear seats are finished in different shades to each other with seven different hide colours to choose from. The seats are finished with contrast stitching and unique Mulliner embroidery. Ombré Burr Walnut Veneer trim is added exclusively to the car, alongside a new veneered panel replacing the standard centre console fascia.
Mood lighting with 15 different colour settings and illuminated Mulliner scuff plates light up the cabin, while an illuminated bottle cooler with crystal champagne flutes is placed in the rear centre console.
As standard the Bentayga Mulliner gets a 20-speaker audio setup and Bentley Dynamic Ride roll control, while optional kits such as Touring and City specifications build on the suite of standard driver assists, which includes park assist, lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
One of the headline optional extras is the Mulliner Tourbillon by Breitling clock. Machined from solid white, yellow or rose gold, customers can choose either a mother-of-pearl or black ebony clockface, decorated with eight diamonds.
Bentley says the Bentayga Mulliner will be produced in limited numbers with the car’s unique features hand-crafted, and though no price has been revealed it should cost considerably more than the £160,000 price tag of the standard model. A unique example will be on show next week at the Geneva Motor Show.
