New Hero Karizma could be showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo.
Launched back in March 2003, the Karizma became the first local production premium bike India has ever seen. The initial version of the Karizma derived its all-aluminium engine from the Honda CRF230 albeit detuned to favour economy. In 2007, Hero Motocorp (Hero Honda then) launched a full-fairing variant named Karizma ZMR. Apart from visual and ergonomic upgrades, the Karizma ZMR also gained Fuel Injection technology with better efficiency and refinement. Despite the comprehensive update, the sales figures kept pointing downwards and lead to the discontinuation of the premium bike in 2015. Yes, the bike is still on display at Hero MotoCorp‘s website but there’s no sign of the bike in the market. However, the company is now working on a New Hero Karizma that will launch by 2020.

New Hero Karizma 2020 Launch Date, Price
Considering the company just started working on the new Karizma, it is expected to release the final product at least by 2020 Auto Expo. Over this time, we will bring you all the latest updates from the manufacturer. The updated Karizma’s sales will only begin around Diwali 2020. Erik Buell Racing will provide their valuable input for the development of the new Karizma. The racing team will be an essential part of the research that’ll go into developing the premium sports bike.
Upon launch, the all-new Karizma is expected to feature several segment first features packed into a pocket-friendly budget. Exactly like the Bajaj Dominar 400, Hero Motocorp is expected to price its premium bike between INR 1.25 to INR 1.5 lakh. We believe the concept to be unveiled at the 2019 EICMA, Milan, Italy. New Hero Karizma 2020 Specifications
The details available on the upcoming 2020 Hero Karizma are scarce as of now as the product development started recently. If reports are to be believed, the new Karizma is being developed keeping in mind both the domestic as well as the international markets. Still about 2 years away from hitting the dealerships, we expect the latest Karizma to be showcased initially at the 2020 Auto Expo. The upcoming 2020 Hero Karizma is expected to be a brand new product and is to be developed ground up.
The Upcoming Karizma will feature a futuristic design with a special aerodynamic body and aluminium engine both aiding the ergonomics of the premium bike. The same 223cc engine is expected to be carried over but several mechanical and electrical changes would allow the company to extract more juice while improving efficiency an economy.
