Best Modified Royal Enfield Motorcycles in India – Blue Raider 540
This RE TBTS 500, nay, the Blue Raider 540 isn’t the first-ever mod-job by Bulleteer Customs, but it’s certainly among the best modifications on an RE that we have seen so far. The modified motorcycle you see here comes draped in a shade of metallic blue. From the looks of it, the front fender comes from the Classic series. The LED headlamp and the single-pod instrument console are of course aftermarket units. Among the highlights of the modifications at the front are the handlebar-end turn indicators. The wide and the rather high-set handlebar gets chrome-plated rear view mirrors to enhance the loudness of the design.
Other than this, the motorcycle features a wide and a low-set seat that ensures a comfortable riding posture. It looks like the grabrail has been retained from the stock motorcycle. The engine header has been wrapped in a thermal wrap and there’s a dual matte black exhaust with chrome at the tips. The single-cylinder engine outputs a maximum power of 27.2 BHP at 5,250 RPM along with a peak torque of 41.3 Nm at 4,000 RPM. The motor comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
The stock rear suspension has been carried over, which means the rear gets a set of twin gas-charged shock absorbers. The standard spoke wheels have been replaced with attractive alloys. Also, the wheels get wider tires to compliment the ‘big bike’ look of the modified Thunderbird Blue Raider 540. Even the brakes have been carried over unaltered.
