Lancia Gamma to return as an all-electric Italian flagship

The 2018 Bajaj Avenger Street 180 has launched in India. It now comes with a number of new features and replaces the existing Avenger Street 150.

Bajaj Auto India has today launched the new 2018 Avenger Street 180 in India. The cruiser introduced now gets a 180cc engine and replaces the existing Avenger Street 150. The two-wheeler now comes with a host of new features. Bajaj has recently launched the 2018 Street 220 and the Cruise 220 range in India. The move to launch the Street 180 aims as establishing Bajaj’s position in the classic bike segment. The more powerful engine in the 2018 Bajaj Avenger Street 180 promises to offer an enjoyable ride in the city as well as on the highway.

 

2018 Bajaj Avenger Street 180- Price

Bajaj has launched the 2018 Avenger Street 180 at an ex-showroom price of INR 84,499. This makes this bike stand amongst the cheapest cruiser bikes which are currently on sale in India. This price makes it cheaper by INR 14,865 than its nearest rival, the Suzuki Intruder.

2018 Bajaj Avenger Street 180- Engine Specifications

A single cylinder, 180 cc engine powers the new Avenger Street 180. The power output of this motor stands at 15.2 BHP along with the torque of 13.7 NM. The engine uses air-cooled technology. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

2018 Bajaj Avenger Street 180- Mileage

Bajaj is yet to reveal the exact mileage figures of Street 180. It is however powered by the same 180 cc engine found on the Pulser. Hence, expected mileage is around 40 to 50 km/l.

2018 Bajaj Avenger Street 180-Features

The new Street 180 comes with a host of features. Primarily is offers a revised seat, a smaller cowl, alloy wheels, a new grab rail along with an all-black theme. Also included in the mix are matte black exhaust pipes and Aluminum finished heat shield and tips. Mechanically, the rear suspension is engineered to travel 12% more, allowing better ride quality and comfort. Visually, Street 180 gets new body colours, graphics and a larger Avenger badge.

2018 Bajaj Avenger Street 180- Design

In its aesthetics, the Avenger Street 180 rembles quite a lot to the 150 and 220. That said, the additional chrome and new body graphics lend the cruiser its own distinctive profile. Additional new features include a high-set handlebar, newly designed fuel and revised seats with better cushioning. The all-black treatment given to the cruiser gives it a sporty appeal.

2018 Bajaj Avenger Street 180- Dimensions

The new Avenger Street 180 measures 2210 mm in length, 806 mm in width and 1070 mm in height. The wheelbase of this cruiser stands at 1480 mm. while the ground clearance at 169 mm.
