Renault Pro+, the commercial vehicle arm of the French car maker, has announced a selection of limited-time offers available across its van range to entice business customers. Highlights include: a £2,000 scrappage scheme for the electric Kangoo Z.E.33, new contract hire offers on Renault vans, free ply-lining for all vans in the range and a low-cost servicing plan.
Business users looking to go electric can now have £2,000 off the price of a new Renault Kangoo Z.E.33 EV, provided they trade in a van registered before December 2010. Customers who take advantage of the scrappage scheme can also make use of a 0% hire purchase offer, which includes three years free servicing. The Kangoo may not be big enough for all businesses, but has a useful range of 170 miles (NEDC).
In addition to this, a new contract hire pricing structure is available for February and March and includes a large number of vehicles from the Renault van range. The headline act is the top spec Trafic Sport medium-sized van, which can now be leased for only £7 per month more than the entry level ‘Business’ model. For your extra pounds you get: sat-nav, parking sensors, cruise control, automatic headlamps and wipers, and also a front bulkhead to keep your cabin and cargo separate.
Irrespective of which van you buy, as long as you order it in February and it is registered before the end of March, Renault will install free ply-lining for the cargo area, which will protect your bodywork during everyday use. Also, to protect the mechanicals of your van, Renault has introduced a new ‘EasyLife’ three-year servicing plan for LCVs, costing £99.

All of the announced Renault Pro+ contract hire offers are based on three-year agreements, with an initial rental of 6 months followed by 35 monthly installments and an annual mileage of 10,000 (excess miles will be charged at 8p per mile). The Kangoo Z.E.33 and Trafic Sport mentioned above cost £206 and £238 per month respectively.
