Renault India has joined hands with Marvel to launch a special edition of the Kwid that comprises of superhero-inspired cars. The new Renault Kwid Superhero has been launched in India in two themes – Ironman and Captain America. Both the cars are available only with the 1.0 SCe petrol engine that can be bought with either a five-speed manual transmission or an AMT. The latest special editions command a price premium of Rs 29,990 over the regular versions.

The Renault Kwid Superhero Edition can be exclusively booked on Amazon, the famous online shopping portal, for Rs 9,999. Both the new cars will be on display at the fast-approaching Auto Expo 2018. Speaking on the launch of the special edition Kwid, Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India Operations, said – “With the Renault KWID Super Hero Edition, Renault offers the specially designed Kwid for Super Hero fans through our collaboration with Marvel. Through this, our consumer centric approach takes the next step by exceeding customer expectations through innovation, design, and quality.”

The new Renault Kwid Superhero edition comes with a 1.0 L engine that outputs 68 PS and 91 Nm. In comparison, the 0,8 L variant offers 54 PS and 72 Nm. While the Manual Transmission variant of the Renault Kwid 1.0 RxL has an ARAI mileage of 23.01 KMPL, the AMT model offers 24.04 KMPL.
