2018 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V – Launch Price
The latest entry from the Hosur based automaker, the 2018 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V has been launched at a price of INR 95,185 ex-showroom Delhi for the carburettor version and INR 1,08,985 ex-showroom for the carburettor variant with ABS. Compared to the model it replaces, the new one gets dearer by around INR 2,000 for each variant. For the considerably low price difference, you get additional visual as well as mechanical updates. The company claims that the riders who take their bikes to the track will notice a faster lap time.

The 2018 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is termed as Race Edition 2.0. The Apache facelift features several changes compared to the model it replaces. Starting with the visual updates, the new Apache features new race-inspired graphics. The red on black combination looks sporty and appealing. The graphics do a great job at highlighting the sharp edges of the refreshed Apache 200. The front features a new windscreen that makes the bike more aerodynamic while decreasing fatigue for the rider on long rides.
2018 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V – Mechanical Specifications
Powering the new 2018 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is the same 197.5 cc single-cylinder engine that makes 20.21 bhp on the carburettor version and 20.71 bp on the EFI variant. The peak torque output remains same on either variant at 18.1 Nm. The 5-speed gearbox remains unaltered. The new race-derived Anti-Reverse Torque (A-RT) Slipper clutch reduces the operating force by 22 percent while making shifts quicker and reducing wheel-hopping while downshifting aggressively and during cornering.

2018 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V – Cycle Parts
The 2018 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V employs the same double cradle split type chassis. Telescopic shocks at the front and mono-tube monoshock at the rear remain unchanged. Braking duty is done by disc brakes at each end with ABS variant available in select dealerships across India. The Apache 200 comes loaded with premium tubeless Pirelli tyres for added safety and comfort. The claimed fuel efficiency sits at 35 kmpl with a top speed of 127 kmph.
