2018 Toyota Yaris India Launch Date
The Toyota Yaris made its first public appearance in India during the 2018 Auto Expo. At the event, the senior official at Toyota confirmed that the Yaris will launch in India during the month of May 2018. According to some recent media reports, it is speculated that this sedan might launch on the 24th of April. Nevertheless, the bookings for the Yaris sedan are already open.

2018 Toyota Yaris Engine Specifications
Toyota India has already confirmed that the Yaris will launch in India with only a petrol derivative. Toyota is yet to reveal the exact details about this petrol engine. That said, we already know that this engine is a 1.5-litre motor. The engine will produce close to 108 BHP of power along with 137 Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed manual transmission will be available as standard. In addition to this, buyers will also have the option to choose a 7-step CVT automatic gearbox.
