Bajaj Dominar 400 Price Hiked By Rs 2000; Second Hike In Two Months

Bajaj has yet again hiked the prices of Dominar by Rs 2000. This Bajaj Dominar 400 price hike is the second time in two months. Now, Dominar starts at Rs 1.46 Lakhs for the non-ABS variant and Rs 1.60 Lakhs (ex-showroom) for the ABS variant.

The power cruiser, Bajaj Dominar 400 receives another price hike. The Bajaj Dominar 400 price hike is by Rs 2000 on both the variants. Two months earlier, Bajaj had hiked the price by Rs 2000 for the first time. The 2018 version of the bike received three new colour schemes and a few visual updates. The non-ABS variant was priced at Rs 1.44 Lakhs earlier, which now is Rs 1.46 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Similarly, the dual-channel ABS variant earlier was Rs 1.58 Lakhs earlier and now costs Rs 1.60 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). The bike first came in December 2016, and since then, the prices have increased by nearly Rs 10000, including the facelift version.

Bajaj Dominar 400 sports a single-cylinder liquid cooling 373 CC engine. The engine produces around 34.5 BHP worth of power and 35 Nm worth of torque. It comes with a fuel injection system. Although it copies some elements from KTM Duke, it uses Bajaj’s trademark Triple spark 4-valve DTS-i engine. Dominar also uses a single camshaft, instead of two, to operate the four valves. In terms of transmission, it uses a Slipper clutch that is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Dominar delivers a claimed mileage of 27 KMPL, which is good for a 400 CC bike. It comes with a fuel tank capacity of 13 Litres with 2 Litres reserve fuel capacity. It delivers a total riding range of 351 Kms. The bike records a high speed of 147 Kmph.

In terms of features, Dominar comes with Split Reverse LCD Display, Automatic LED Headlamps, Fully Digital Instrument Cluster and a dual channel ABS. Bajaj Dominar price hike is official and the website now shows the revised prices. Currently, Bajaj Dominar 400 competes with Mahindra Mojo UT 300 and Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X. Dominar was first launched at Rs 1.36 Lakhs and was the cheapest of its competitors. However, now, owing to the price range, the price range is almost equal to its competitors.
