Ford Ecosport Titanium S And Titanium Signature Editions Launching This Month

Ford Ecosport to get 2 limited edition variants – Ford Ecosport S and Ecosport Signature. The memos of the billing of the cars are out to the dealers, indicating that both the editions might launch this month. Both of the editions will have different added features on the original Titanium + variant.

Ford might roll out the Ecosport S and the Signature editions on the Ford Ecosport this month. Ford will place Ecosport S and Signature over the current top-end variant, Titanium +. Both the editions get some cosmetic changes as well as get some more features. Also, Ecosport’s famous 1.0 L Ecoboost petrol engine makes a comeback in the Ecosport S variant. Now, the 1.0 Litre Ecoboost petrol engine would have a 6-speed gearbox, instead of the earlier 5-speed gearbox. The Ecosport S will also come with its usual 1.5 L TDCI engine. Another big update noticed is a new sunroof on both the variants.

The Ford Ecosport Signature gets darkened headlamps, a front skid plate, upper painted grille, 17-inch machined-face painted wheels, a black roof on the exteriors. In the interior, it gets a sunroof, Ebony black interior with copper accents, orange scent stitching with a new 4.2 inch MID.

The Ford Ecosport S gets the 1.0 Litre Ecoboost petrol engine, which Ford discontinued in the recent update of Ecosport. The 1.0 Litre Ecoboost engine produces 125 BHP worth torque and 170 Nm worth torque. Also, the Ecoboost engine will come with a 6-speed transmission, instead of the 5-speed gearbox. Other updates include a new sunroof, blue accent interiors and a new 9-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Also, the S variant also gets sport-tuned suspensions, for better ride quality.

After the official announcement of both the editions, Ford might also swap Titanium+’s 17-inch alloy wheels with new 16-inch alloys. Also, Ecosport S will come with the Ecoboost engine and the usual 1.5 Litre TDCI engine as well. Given the added features and a new engine in Ecosport S, both the editions might cost nearly Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000 above the Titanium + variant.
