2018 Hyundai Santro is set to arrive in India this year. It will take on the likes of next-generation Maruti Wagon R, Tata Tiago and the Renault KWID. It will feature only a petrol variant with a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder unit. Prices will fall in the range of INR 3.5 lakh to INR 5.5 lakh.

This new compact hatchback will replace the i10 hatchback in Hyundai model line-up in India. Hence, it will find its place in-between the Eon and the Grand i10. Consequently, expect the prices to fall in the range of INR 3.5 Lakh to INR 6 Lakh.

2018 Hyundai Santro Engine Specifications
The next-generation Hyundai’s small car will get a petrol engine in its line-up. This is going to be the same 1.0-litre motor that the current spec i10 uses. This motor produces 68 BHP of power along with 99 Nm of peak torque. The 2018 Santro is going to get a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. Hyundai might also introduce an automatic variant as well.
