Hyundai Motors India is gearing up to soon launch an all-new compact hatchback in India. Likely to be named as the Santro, this vehicle is going to replace the i20 from the automaker’s model line-up in India. We are expecting it to launch in our country sometime around the festive season this year. So far there is no concrete information regarding this vehicle from Hyundai, however, expect that it is going to be priced in-between the mark of INR 3.5 lakh to 5.5 lakh. 2018 Hyundai Santro Engine Specifications

The next-generation Hyundai’s small car will get a petrol engine in its line-up. This is going to be the same 1.0-litre motor that the current spec i10 uses. This motor produces 68 BHP of power along with 99 Nm of peak torque. The 2018 Santro is going to get a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. Hyundai might also introduce an automatic variant as well.
