TVS Ntorq 125 – Competition
Currently, the competition between 125 CC scooters is ever increasing. With every brand trying to foray in this segment, the competition is too high. Currently, TVS Ntorq 125 competes with Activa 125, Honda Grazia, Vespa SXL 125, Mahindra Gusto 125, Suzuki Access 125 and Aprilia SR 125. The nearest competitor to the scooter is the Grazia. In terms of features, everyone is far behind.
Activa 125 thrives on its simplicity and sturdiness. Activa is easily one of the highest selling scooters in India. Honda Grazia is a totally new concept by Honda, giving the scooter sporty and modern looks. Vespa SXL 125 is priced too high and it hardly offers any features on it. Vespa SXL looks classy and is Italian, which makes two of its main selling points. Mahindra Gusto gives more features than the rest of them, but still lags in terms of performance. Suzuki Access 125 gives good performance and like Activa, has simple looks. Access 125 is also the cheapest priced 125 CC scooter. Last but not the least, another Italian, Aprilia SR 125 is a good competitor. It gives the legacy looks, legacy engine and legacy styling. SR 125 gives good performance and is not high priced, making it a considerable option.

TVS Ntorq 125 – Design Review
It’s like Apache found its successor in gearless scooters. Copying styling elements from Apache family, Ntorq 125 is definitely a head-turner with those heavy decals and graphics. It gets a dual tone colour treatment over the body with a huge ‘125’ decal and a small ‘TVS Racing’ decal. In the front, it comes with 2 LED DRLs on the handle, with a headlamp above the fender. It comes with alloy wheels with a disc brake in the front tyre. One thing seems to be overdone, is the exhaust muffler. It is a bit large and bulky, taking some show elements out of the scooter. In the rear side, it gets sporty side rails with distinctive LED Taillights. Basically, according to our review, TVS Ntorq 125 is a perfect scooter, mainly for the youth, who want sporty looking scooters. The looks, features, engine and price altogether make it a right buy.
