One of the latest entry from the Hosur based automaker, the 2018 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is available at a price of Rs 93,685 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the standard version and Rs 1.10 Lakhs for the Fuel Injection Ethanol ABS. Compared to the model it replaces, the new one gets dearer by around INR 2,000 for each variant. For the considerably low price difference, you get additional visual as well as mechanical updates. The company claims that the riders who take their bikes to the track will notice a faster lap time.

The 2018 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is termed as Race Edition 2.0. The Apache facelift features several changes compared to the model it replaces. Starting with the visual updates, the new Apache features new race-inspired graphics. The red on black combination looks sporty and appealing. Powering the new 2018 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is the same 197.5 cc single-cylinder engine that makes 20.21 bhp on the carburettor version and 20.71 bp on the EFI variant. The peak torque output remains same on either variant at 18.1 Nm. The 5-speed gearbox remains unaltered. The new race-derived Anti-Reverse Torque (A-RT) Slipper clutch reduces the operating force by 22 percent while making shifts quicker and reducing wheel-hopping while downshifting aggressively and during cornering.
