Bajaj has combined good looks with good riding quality for this naked street bike. The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is all muscle body and literally shows it off without any cover on its beefy body. This bike has always been one of the most successful Pulsar bikes since its launch. It just got an ABS feature last year, after high demand for the safety feature in this bike. The bike is priced starting Rs 99,441 to Rs 1.11 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Features of the bike include ABS, halogen always-on headlamps, Nitrox Rear monoshock suspension and a semi-digital speedometer console. For comfortable riding, it gets clip-on style handlebars, split seats, wide tubeless tyres. Currently, it competes with Apache RTR 2004V, Duke 200 and FZ 25. Honda, Suzuki and Hero do not offer any 200cc naked bikes but offer in 250cc and 160cc range. However, Hero’s upcoming Xtreme 200R will also join the league.

Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Price in India

The latest model from Bajaj Auto Ltd has gone on sale at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.11 Lakhs in New Delhi. In comparison, the non-ABS model costs roughly Rs 99.411. All this makes the new ABS version almost Rs 11,700 costlier than the non-ABS version.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 ABS gets the 199.5 cc, 4 valve, single cylinder BS4-compliant engine that powers the standard variant. Sadly, the motorcycle is yet to get fuel injection. The motor continues to churn out a maximum power of 23 BHP at 9500 RPM along with a peak torque of 18.3 Nm at 8,000 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
The bike boasts conventional front forks at the front and a gas-charged Nitrox monoshock suspension setup at the rear. The motorcycle rides on stylish 17-inch mag wheels that come shod with a 100-section front tire and a 130-section rear tire. Braking duties are courtesy of disc brakes, both at front and rear. While the front disc brake has a 280 mm rotor with a twin-calliper arrangement, the rear gets a 230 mm disc with a single-calliper setup. The ABS module for the NS 200 is the same unit that is also available on its full fairing sibling, the Pulsar RS200.

The latest iteration of NS 200 doesn’t look too different from the one that was launched way back in 2012. In its latest iteration, however, the bike gets more stylish due to the dual-paint colour schemes and stylish graphics. The NS 200 has always managed to impress us with its beefy design and a really bold exterior. The aesthetics seem to be inspired by the very loveable and instantly recognizable Honda CB1000R.
