Maruti Alto Next-Generation Launch Likely By February 2019- Report

The next-generation iteration of the Maruti Alto will take its inspiration from the Suzuki Concept Future S. It will answer the competition and feed the demand for small entry level crossovers in India by its rugged looks. This new Maruti small car will meet all the latest crash test norms.

There is no argument about the fact that Maruti Suzuki is currently working on an all-new small, entry-level car for India. And that this vehicle is going to take its inspiration from the Concept Future S which made its debut in India at the 2018 Auto Expo. The next-generation iteration of the Alto will have a crossover-ish design. This is owing to the current demand for muscular and robust looking cars in India. This is a result of the aspiration created by the compact and sub-compact SUV segments.
