Maruti Wagon R 7-Seater is the budget MPV version of the next-generation Wagon R hatchback set to launch in India this year. Media reports suggest that the company is likely to put this vehicle in production by the month of September this year. Currently, there are no concrete details regarding the engine specifications of the Wagon R 7-seater. However, we can safely speculate that this car will get the same engines as its 5-seater sibling. Hence, it will come only with a petrol engine at its disposal. This unit is going to be a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder motor which produces 65 BHP along with 91 Nm of peak torque. The car will get a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. Maruti can also introduce the 5-speed AMT unit as well.
