The limited edition Tata Tigor Buzz has been spied and some of its photos have been leaked online. It is based on the entry-level trim, XE. It gets a new colour and some other minor cosmetic updates as compared to the normal Tigor. Another highlight is the infotainment centre, which is available in trims above the XE.
The Tata Tigor Buzz Limited Edition is set to hit the roads, as it has been spotted at a dealership in Mumbai and an official image of the car has been leaked online by Team-BHP. The car gets a distinctive styling feature from the normal Tigor with a new ‘Red Berry’ colour with some cosmetic updates. Tigor is a sub-4 metre compact sedan offering by Tata or is just an extended version of Tiago. It competes with Hyundai Xcent, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Ford Figo Aspire, Volkswagen Ameo and Honda Amaze. The sedan starts from Rs 4.84 Lakhs and goes up to Rs 7.19 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Buzz gets a ‘Berry Red’ colour, which is available only in this edition. It gets a contrasting black roof, berry red radiator grille highlights, black mirrors and dual tone wheel covers with red accent. Also, there is a ‘Buzz’ sign on the boot lid. Inside the sedan, it gets gloss black inserts, dual-tone piano inserts, red AC vent surrounds and patterned seat fabric. It also gets the ConnectNext Infotainment system by Harman Kardon, which is found in the higher trims of the Tigor. It is based on the XE trim but gets few more features.
Currently, the Tata Tigor XE comes with LED tail lamps, Dual-tone interiors with premium finishes, Driver information system with Digital clock, Gear-Shift display and Door-open and key in reminder. It also gets two driving modes – Eco and City. Tigor XE comes in both petrol and diesel variants.

There would be no mechanical updates to the Tata Tigor Buzz. It will continue with the 1.2 L Revotron petrol and 1.05 L Revotorq diesel. The three-cylinder petrol engine develops 83 BHP at 6,000 RPM and 114 Nm of torque at 3,500 RPM. The turbocharged three-cylinder diesel engine produces 68 BHP at 4,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque at 1,800-3,000 RPM. The Tata Tigor is available with 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual transmissions, but the Tigor Buzz won’t come with the latter.

The limited edition is expected to launch soon. It is expected to be priced a little more premium than the Tigor XE trim. The petrol variant of the Buzz could cost around Rs 5.1 Lakhs and the diesel one could cost around Rs 6 lakhs (ex-showroom). Stay tuned on CarBlogIndia for more such spy images and automobile scoops.
