The 2018 Honda CD 110 Dream DX has been launched in India at a price of Rs 48,272 (ex-showroom). It is a pure commuter bike offering from Honda with a 110cc HET engine. The mileage of this bike is around 65 KMPL. It gets a long seat along with a long wheelbase for a better ride quality.
The 2018 Honda CD 110 Dream DX commuter bike has been launched in India. The entry-level bike is launched at a price of Rs 48,272 (ex-showroom Delhi). The bike has been inspired from the Honda’s first mass motorcycle Dream D which was launched in Japan in 1949. The design cues of the DX are similar to the legendary motorcycle. It gets new attractive gold graphics, a heavy-duty carrier and chrome muffler protector. The Dream series of Honda now gets three models – Yuga, Neo and CD 110. The Yuga looks a bit classier and sportier. Both the bikes run on a 110cc HET engine that produces around 8.31 BHP of power and 9.09 Nm of torque. At this price, it competes with the entry-level bikes from brands such as Hero, Bajaj and Suzuki.

Other features of the 2018 Honda CD 110 Dream DX include long seat, high ground clearance, long wheelbase, rear metal carrier and a key lock utility box. It gets the reliable 110cc HET technology engine that produces 8.31 BHP @ 7500 RPM worth of power and 9.09 Nm @ 5000 RPM worth of torque. It gets a 4-speed Manual Gearbox with a maximum speed of 86 KMPH. The bike weighs around 109 Kgs with the carrier. The fuel tank capacity of this bike is 8 Litres and it delivers a mileage of around 65 KMPL.
As the bike is very basic, it does not get any premium features. The features of the bike include a rear metal carrier, a key lock utility box, Tubeless Tyres, long seat, 3 Step Adjustable Rear Suspension, Automatic Headlamp ON and mainly Honda’s brand reliability. The bike comes in 5 colour schemes – Black with Cabin Gold, Black with Green Metallic, Black with Grey Silver Metallic, Black with Red and Black with Blue Metallic.

Since the Dream series launched in 2014, it has been a very popular product because of its cheap pricing and fuel efficiency. The Yuga looks a bit more premium than the CD 110 though. The bike competes with the likes of Hero Splendor, Bajaj Platina and TVS Star City. All of these are passenger bikes which fall easily under the Rs 60,000 budget.
