Those who are familiar with Hyundai will clearly see that the exterior profile of the Santa Fe resembles with the Kona Concept. Up-front, the SUV gets sleek and sharp headlamps. Sitting below which is a large chrome strip that runs across the bonnet’s length. Of course, dominating the facia is Hyundai’s signature hexagonal grille. The bumper accommodates the fog-lamp housing which looks quite bold, thanks to the angular cuts. Bold shoulder lines and curvaceous door panels enhance the premium appeal of this SUV. As expected, the cabin of the 2019 Santa Fe is very plush. It follows a dual tone colour theme of grey and beige. The dashboard design is curvaceous yet simple and neat. The instrument cluster gets a large central dial with backlight. The dashboard houses the new touchscreen infotainment system. Sitting below is the ergonomic controls for the air-con control module. Apart from the dual-tone colour theme, the cabin comes with various silver inserts, giving the interiors a premium feel. The upholstery is leather, adding to the premium appeal of the SUV. 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Engine Specifications
The 2019 Santa Fe is offered with a choice of three different engines. Out of these, two are petrol motors while one is a diesel. The petrol engines are the 2.4-litre GDI and the 2.0-litre turbocharged unit. The former produces 185 BHP, the latter is good for 232 BHP. The diesel engine is the new 2.2-litre unit. It is capable of churning out 200 BHP. An 8-speed transmission will come as standard for all the engines. Hyundai is claiming that this gearbox is lighter and more efficient than the 6-speed unit that it replaces. The Santa Fe also comes with Hyundai’s HTRAC ALL-Wheel Drive unit which offers a multi-mode driving system (Normal, Sport and Smart).
2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Features
The 2019 Santa Fe gets a host of onboard features. The SUV comes with LED daytime running lights, twin LED headlights, diamond cut alloy wheels along with LED taillights. The cabin features a touchscreen infotainment system which gets Hyundai AVN 5.0 Navigation System. Also on offer is a Qi charging pad for compatible Android and Apple smartphones. For the driver, the Santa Fe gets a head-up-display. In terms of safety, the new Hyundai Santa Fe comes with forwarding collision avoidance assist, blind spot collision warning, safe exit assist, lane keeping assist, driver attention warning, rear view monitor with parking guidance, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist among the others.

Hyundai is likely to launch the 2019 Santa Fe in India sometime during the end of 2019. When launched, this premium SUV will pitch against the likes of Honda CR-V. Talking about prices, expect this SUV to fall in the range of INR 28 lakh to INR 30 lakh.
