BMW G 310 R

The 310 R is a naked roadster bike. The looks are similar to the elder siblings such as the BMW R 1200 R. The bike gets all the killer looks with a beefy yet chiselled body. It gets heavy muscle lines over the whole body. The main design elements include the gold anodized upside-down telescopic forks, the perfected swing-aluminium frame, the minimalistic yet sporty graphics and the upswept exhaust. The bike will come in Cosmic Black, Racing Red and Motorsport White colours.

The bike gets a 313cc liquid cooled engine that churns out 34 BHP of power and 28 Nm of torque. It gets a 6-speed wet-clutch transmission. The 310 R is capable of reaching a top speed of 144 Km/hr (estimated). For fuel efficiency, it gets an Electronic Fuel Injection system. We expect the mileage to be around 30 KMPL. The 310 GS also inherits the bold off-road looks for the other powerful BMW models. While adventure/tourer bikes are not much popular in India, this one is the third one to be priced under Rs 5 Lakhs. Rest of them, are much much costly. Unlike the 310 R, this one gets a sleek toned body. The styling highlights of the bike include its trademark GS Snout, bigger 19-inch rims and a small windscreen.

The BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS get the same engine. This bike also gets the 313cc liquid cooled engine. This bike is heavier than the 310 R, as it weighs 169 kgs, 11 kgs more.
