Recently, there were some rumours about the naked streetfighter Yamaha M Slaz launching in India. It is basically a naked version of the R15, as it takes mechanical as well as some cosmetic underpinnings for R15. However, the M Slaz is not going to launch in the Indian markets. In this article, we explain why.
Yamaha has been giving some quick accelerating performance bikes for a long time. Even under a price of 2 Lakhs, it has the R15, Fazer 25 and the FZ25. These bikes offer great riding quality, better than some of its rivals. Some rumours about the Yamaha M Slaz launching in India were circulated. While the bike was launched 2 years back in the Thailand markets, it still has not come to India. We assume that the bike is currently not going to come to the Indian markets. The M-Slaz is the entry level bike of the MT series, which is famous globally for its naked street bikes. It uses R15’s styling elements with its 155cc SOHC engine. Features of the bike include LED headlamps and tail lamps, MT Ignition switch in place of push-button start, Front and Rear Disc Brake, Gold finish on front forks and an LCD Instrument console.
