In this article, we put the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X Vs Mahindra Mojo UT 300. The Thunderbird is basically an urban street version of the regular 350cc variant. The UT 300 is a younger version of XT 300 and misses out on some features. Without any further ado, let’s get down to more details of both the bikes.
Royal Enfield is famous for its old-school cafe racer looks with no such latest features. Still, in case of the Thunderbird, it has tried to make it look like a modern day cruiser. The Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X gets heavy black inserts, giving the normal 350cc bike a classy yet sporty look. On the other hand, we take the Mahindra Mojo UT 300, which is a smaller version of the XT 300. Unlike the 350X, it gets some premium features such as a semi-digital console, twin-pod headlamps, twin disc brakes and more. So clearly, the comparison is between the olden times vs the modern times or, a serious fan base vs the latest features. With its Classic, Thunderbird, Bullet and Electra, most of the cruiser lovers are mostly RE fans. So let’s see, based on the specs, features and prices, which one is the better cruiser.

Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X vs Mahindra Mojo UT 300 – Design
The new Thunderbird 350 X looks fresher and arguably more stylish than the regular cruiser motorcycle from Royal Enfield. The 350X gets a dual-tone colour treatment. The new multi-spoke alloy wheels and all the cycle parts come painted in matte-black. The twin-seat arrangement has been replaced with a single seat. The side fenders get the new ‘350X’ badges. The tall handlebars of the regular T’bird 350 have been replaced with a flatter unit. Overall, the new bike impresses due to the several styling updates it carries.
Mahindra Mojo also gets a distinctive styling. Its front-end is characterized by a twin pod headlamp setup and LED pilot lamps. Golden-coloured bits like the front forks add to the Mojo’s appeal. So do the twin exhaust pipes. Basically, it comes with all the features which the standard Mojo XT300 gets. That said, it misses out on Mojo’s characteristic twin exhausts. The cheaper tourer also skips the LED daytime running light strip up-front.
