Toyota Yaris India Prices, Mileage, Interiors, Dimensions And Specifications

In this article, we take on the Toyota Yaris. It is the costliest compact sedan in its segment. The prices of the sedan start from Rs 8.75 Lakhs and go up to Rs 14.07 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Yaris is easily the safest sedan in its segment but does not look much appealing and would pass as a chauffeur driven car.

The compact sedan segment is one of the most popular markets. The cars in that segment are much demanded, because they are priced under Rs 12 Lakhs, offer premium features along with great comfort. The latest entrant in this segment is the Toyota Yaris. Earlier, Toyota had the Etios in this segment, which did not go well and was mostly used as cabs. However, with this sedan, it gives something different. By looking at it, it might feel a bit hefty on its small tyres. However, one best point about the sedan is that it gets some segment first safety features like Hill Assist Control, Vehicle Stability Control, 7-airbags as standard equipment and much more. It also scored 5 stars on the recent ASEAN NCAP crash test. Without any further ado, let’s get down to more details of this new sedan.

Toyota Yaris India Mileage

The 1.5-litre petrol engine in this car is expected to give a mileage of 15 to 17 km/l. Toyota is playing safe by introducing only a petrol engine. This is because the cloud over the future of diesel cars is still quite thick. The automaker suffered quite a lot when the diesel ban was imposed in Delhi-NCR recently. In addition to this, the automaker believes that majority of the buyers in this segment opt for a petrol car rather than a diesel one.
