The competition in the mid-size executive sedan segment is getting quite aggressive these days. Honda City Next-Generation Exterior Design

As per this rendering, the front-end of the 2019 City will feature a really big hexagonal grille that will get black horizontal slats. The gaping grille will be flanked by really sleek LED headlamps with LED DRLs. The bumper features a pair of LED fog lamps with air vents below them. In side profile, the speculative rendering here shows a clean surface with fewer creases. The wing mirrors seem to have grown in size while the DLO seems to be unchanged in proportions. The alloys seem much like those on the current model.

As per the renderings, the rear will get sleek LED taillamps and a bootlid that is highly reminiscent of the Ingisht Prototype. On the inside, the dashboard will get a new Digipad touchscreen infotainment unit that will offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.

Honda City Next-Generation Interior Design

The Honda City has always had one of the most stylish cabin designs among its competitors. With the generation update, expect this car to get an equally appealing design. That said, Honda will for sure add a premium touch to the interiors, for City being an executive sedan. Consequently, expect it to come with a dual tone cabin colour scheme of black and beige. Cabin space has always been one of the major strong points of the City. The next-generation model is likely to use an all-new platform. This could translate into improved cabin space. Honda is currently working on re-establishing itself as the manufacturer of premium cars. Hence, we are expecting the Honda City 2020 to have good material quality on the inside.
