The KTM RC 200 comes with a 199.5cc liquid cooled engine, mated to a slipper clutch. That’s why the aggressive gear shifting. The bike is priced at Rs 1.72 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The bike can achieve a 0-100 KMPH acceleration timing of just 9.3 seconds. The RC 200 has a top speed of 140 KMPH. It is mated to a wet multi-disc clutch with a 6-speed manual transmission. As we said, the specifications don’t see much of a change from its previous generation.

Like we said, the RC 200 gets cosmetic updates from the previous generation. The bodywork looks a lot fresh and we like the way the design has evolved. The bike gets the two brilliant colour schemes, too. Bits like mirrors, footpegs, indicators are new. So is the exhaust system. It may be noted that while the KTM RC 390 receives a side-mounted exhaust, the RC200 continues with an underbelly unit. We like the way KTM has ensured that the superbike looks very modern whilst retaining its sleek design and sharp looks.
