Cleveland Cycle Werks Misfit And Ace Deluxe prices have been revealed. The American bikes are launching next month and deliveries will start in November. The Misfit is a street cafe-racer and the Ace Deluxe is like a Scrambler. Check out the price and details of the upcoming bikes.
American brand Cleveland Cycle Werks displayed its India bound Misfit and Ace Deluxe motorcycles at the Auto Expo 2018. Now, the latest media report from Overdrive says that the Misfit and Ace Deluxe are all set to launch in India in October. The Misfit motorcycle is a street cafe racer, whereas the Ace Deluxe is a scrambler-type bike. Soon, after the launch in October, the deliveries will commence in November. Also, the prices of both the bikes are out. The Misfit is likely to cost Rs 2.49 Lakhs and Ace Deluxe might launch at Rs 2.23 Lakhs (ex-showroom India). Both are 250cc cruiser motorcycles with same engine specs. Just that the Misfit is a bit heavier than the Ace Deluxe, by 11 Kgs. Check out more details of the bike ahead.

Both the bikes will come with the same engine specs. Powering these bikes is a 229cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces around 15.4 BHP of power and 16 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with a wet multi-plate clutch.
The chassis on both the Cleveland Cycle Werks bike is different. The Ace Deluxe uses High Carbon steel Square backbone chassis. The Misfit comes with a steel tubular cradle chassis. Both the bikes come with Inverted telescopic forks in the front and pre-load adjustable twin hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. For braking both use front and rear disc brakes but with different disc sizes.

The Misfit weighs around 144 kgs and the Ace Deluxe weighs lesser at 133 kgs. While the Ace Deluxe comes with a fuel capacity of 14 Litres, the Misfit comes with 15 Litres capacity. As we go through the dimensions, the Misfit is a bit bigger than the Ace, also with a longer wheelbase.
Currently, these bikes will come as CKD units from CCW’s Chinese Export hub. The assembly and lineup factory is in Pune, from where they can handle 35-40,000 units a year. With CKD, Cleveland Cycle Werks will also localize their bikes to some extent. The headlamps and tires are sourced locally.

Lastly, with prices starting at Rs 2.23 Lakhs, it might be a bit costly. At this price range, there are no 250cc cruisers. Now, there is Royal Enfield, UM, and Avenger series. Comparatively, both the bikes are much higher priced than their rivals.
