TVS Jupiter 125 is rumoured to launch next month. If it launches, it will borrow some features from the Ntorq 125 and will rival Activa 125 and Access 125. Expect it to have some premium features for a better competition.
TVS Jupiter is the second most successful scooter after the Activa. It ranks second in the number of sales of previous 4-5 months. While Activa is the basic plain scooter, the Jupiter is a bit more premium than the Activa. Jupiter 110 offers features such as a pass light, optional disc brake, LED tail lights, Passenger backrest, Multi-Reflector halogen type headlamps and more. Now, we get fresh media reports stating that TVS Jupiter 125 might launch next month. It would be more premium than the Jupiter 110 and will go against Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125.
It is speculated that a new TVS product might launch next month. Recently, it launched the 110cc TVS Radeon. It was a premium 110cc bike which came with some upscale features. Now, in time of the festive season, we expect a premium scooter.

Currently, it has the Wego, Jupiter, Scooty Pep+ and Zest 110 in the entry-level scooters. In the premium category, it only has Ntorq. So there are high chances of a premium 125cc scooter since it has only one in its lineup.
Earlier, there were various rumours about TVS Jupiter 125. There are chances provided that it will take on the likes of segment heavyweights, Suzuki Access 125 and Honda Activa 125. The Activa series still stays on the top of the best selling 2-wheelers in India. While Access does not lag much behind and manages a place in the top 5.
If the TVS Jupiter 125 launches, it might borrow its technology from the Ntorq. It might have the Bluetooth connected speedometer, fully digital instrument console, LED headlamps, mobile charging kit, and all those features.

Designwise, it might look similar to the 110cc Jupiter. It might continue with the elegant colour schemes, the classy look and of course, the black alloy wheels. The 110cc Jupiter offers optional disc brake, but the TVS Jupiter 125 might have it as standard fitment.
It will likely borrow the engine from TVS Ntorq. The engine produces around 9.4 BHP of power and 10.5 Nm of torque. It is one of the powerful engines of its segment and as a result, Ntorq is one of the quickest accelerating scooters.
The mileage estimated on this scooter might be around 45 kmpl, similar to the Ntorq. If launched, we expect a price of around 58,000. Still, it would be around Rs 3,000 cheaper than the Ntorq.
