The 2018 Datsun GO facelift is in the news for a while. The entry-level hatchback, despite being feature equipped, is not much popular in the market. However, with the latest facelift, Datsun expects an increased demand. As of now, the bookings for the same have started across all authorized dealerships. The booking token is Rs 11,000. Since 2014, the GO did not receive any facelift. Now, it gets cosmetic changes and heavy feature upgrades. Check out the 5 things that you should know about the hatchback.
1. Launch
The 2018 Datsun GO Facelift is launching on 9th October. We are heading out for the media drive on 9th and 10th October. Following which, the deliveries of the car will begin from 10th October itself.

2. Price and Competition
Currently, the prices of GO start from Rs 3.38 Lakhs onwards and goes up to Rs 4.41 Lakhs. The facelift is expected to start from Rs 3.5 Lakhs onwards and may go up to Rs 4.70 Lakhs. The GO Plus could start off at Rs 4.20 Lakhs onwards (all prices ex-showroom Delhi). At this price, it will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, upcoming Hyundai Santro, Tata Tiago, and Renault Kwid.
3. Engine
The 2018 Datsun GO Facelift will continue with the same 1.2 Litre 3-cylinder petrol engine. The engine produces around 68 BHP of power and 104 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Indonesian-spec GO gets a CVT gearbox, which is unlikely to come to the Indian one. However, it could get an AMT gearbox.

4. Features
Over the current generation, there are tons of feature upgrades on the 2018 Datsun GO facelift. They are as follows:

Lastly, we talk about the design changes of the 2018 Datsun GO Facelift. So, overall it gets some tweaks and revisions. On the exterior, the noticeable features include LED DRLs, rear washer and wiper and a new set of alloy wheels. It gets a revised bumper, a sharper air intake, revised headlamp style and revised front grille.
