Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 has been launched in Poland, which after some time is also launching in India. This has been confirmed by Rajeev Bajaj in an interview. Here we have the complete specifications of the bike.
Earlier, in an interview, Rajiv Bajaj said that more affordable Pulsar bikes are going to launch. Currently, the Pulsar range starts with the 150cc bike and goes on up to 220F. More affordable Pulsar bikes mean 110cc or 125cc Pulsars. Now, Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 has been launched in Poland. We believe this bike will come to India in the 125cc segment, after the poor sales of Discover in that segment. Many reports also claim that Bajaj might make a new brand for the 125cc segment.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 comes with a 125cc air-cooled engine. The engine produces 12 HP and 11 Nm of torque. The Discover also gives out similar power figures. Discover’s engine gives out 11 HP and 11 Nm torque. Most likely, the NS 125 would have a retuned version of Discover’s 125cc engine. For transmission, the bike uses a 5-speed gearbox.

The styling is quite identical to the 135 LS. The NS 125 gets identical fuel tank styling, exhaust muffler, and the headlamp cowl. Just the colour shades and the graphics are new. Moreover, the graphics are of the NS series and has ‘125’ scribed just below the fuel tank.
At the front, it gets a telescopic unit and twin-side nitrox shock absorber suspension in the rear. For braking, it uses a front disc brake and rear drum brakes. When launched in India, the Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 will also get ABS. As per Government’s rule, all two-wheelers which are 125cc and above should have ABS feature.

Other design elements include the split grab rail, rear tire huggers, skid plates and the usual sharp creases. Features onboard would include a semi-analogue instrument cluster, engine kill switch, improved headlamps, and clip-on handlebars. Bajaj will most likely try to make it look as the sportiest 125cc scooter.
Currently, Bajaj has a foothold in the 150-220cc segments. It has 6 bikes in this range which are quite popular in India. However, it is loosing in the main bike segment in India – 100-125cc. This commuter and passenger segment is the profitable segment, where Bajaj does not garner enough sales.

We expect the Pulsar NS 125 to launch sometime in 2019. In Poland, Bajaj retails the NS 125 for Rs 1.58 Lakhs. In India, it would easily come under the budget of Rs 70,000.
