Ahead of its launch on 14th November, Royal Enfield 650 Twins have been given to a bunch of people to test ride it. Here is the video of the test ride. The deliveries of both the bikes will begin in December.
Royal Enfield 650 Twins were launched globally in September this year. In India, the most-awaited RE motorcycles are launching on 14th November at Royal Enfield Riders Mania in Goa. Following the launch, the deliveries will begin in December. Ahead of its launch, RE invited a couple of buyers to check out the 650 Twins. Here, we have a customer experience video of some riders testing the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650 in full glory. Read more about the GT 650 here.
As seen in the video, the riders are doing very short rounds on a specially made track. In this video, you can distinctively hear the aggressive exhaust note of the Royal Enfield 650 Twins. The Twins are without any camouflage and are ready in proper production form.

Many dealers of Royal Enfield have started collecting bookings for these bikes. Recently, it was spotted at a certain dealership based in North India. As mentioned earlier, the deliveries will most likely begin in December.
Various reports say that the ongoing RE workers strike might affect this development. Around 1500 workers from Royal Enfield, Yamaha and Myoung Shin India have been protesting for the past month. On this, RE has commented that the production has been affected but is still going on at a relatively lower speed.

The Royal Enfield 650 Twins come with a 650cc parallel twin-cylinder engine. This engine tanks out 47 BHP and 52 Nm of peak torque. For transmission, it uses a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper assist clutch. The top speed claimed on these motorcycles is around 160 km/hr.
For suspension duties, Royal Enfield 650 Twins use telescopic forks in the front and gas charged twin-shock absorbers at the back. The braking is handled by front and rear disc brakes and a dual-channel ABS setup.
The only difference between the twins is that the Interceptor is a roadster and the GT 650 is a cafe racer. Noticeable differences come in the design of handlebar, fuel tanks and the seats.

The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is expected to be priced Rs 3.5 Lakhs. Interceptor will be priced lower than GT 650. The Interceptor might come at a price of Rs 3 Lakhs. The 650 Twins won’t face no direct competition because no that much powerful bike comes in a similar price range.
