RE has teased a motorcycle, which it will display on 6th November at the EICMA 2018 in Milan. Speculations say that the teased model might be a Royal Enfield 650 Bobber.
Royal Enfield is launching the 650 Twins next month in India. RE Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650 are the amongst the most anticipated two-wheelers of this year. In development with this, RE had stated that this engine might be used in other upcoming models as well. Now, RE has released a teaser photo of an upcoming model, which will be showcased at 2018 EICMA. Based on the design outline, we think that it might come up with a new Bobber.
So what is a Bobber? Bobbers are basically a type of cruiser motorcycle which is made smaller or is ‘bobbed’. In this type of motorcycle, the front fender and the rear fender are shortened. It gets minimal bodywork with a completely naked body.

The Royal Enfield 650 Bobber gets a tall stance. The single spring seat is similar to that on the Classic 500. At the rear end also, you can spot a short fender and a huge chrome exhaust. It could be a fusion of retro-modern design styling.

The RE 650 Twins are built on a new steel tubular, double cradle frame. The 650 Bobber will also use this platform. The Bobber will get telescopic forks in the front and twin coil-over shocks. For braking, the Bobber might use a 320mm disc brake in the front and 240 mm disc at the rear. It will continue to use dual-channel ABS setup as standard fitments.
