Here is a speculative rendering of Royal Enfield 650 Scrambler Sport and Classic. RE has hinted that it might launch different variants from the 650 Twins. The platform used in 650 Twins can spawn Scramblers or Flat Trackers.
Recently, we had reported that the platform used in Royal Enfield 650 Twins can be used to spawn different variants. RE had hinted of a possibility of a Scrambler or a flat track bike. Amidst these reports, Oberdan Bezzi of Moto Sketches has done a speculative rendering of the Royal Enfield 650 Scrambler Sport and Classic. We can say both the bikes look monstrous and kind of beautiful too. The chassis, frame and engine specs would be the same as it is. Just, there would be a change in the styling of the bike.
The Royal Enfield 650 Scrambler Sport gets a high placed front fender, USD Forks and dual-purpose tires. The instrument cluster, its placement, and the round headlamp look identical to the Continental GT 650. In this rendering, the Scrambler Sport gets a dual tone color treatment of Orange-Satin Black.

At the rear portion of the Sport, you can see that the rear tire is a bit smaller than the front one. The revised tail portion distinguishes it very much from the 650 Twins. Also, the side portion is made to look like a flat-track motorcycle.
Moving on to the Royal Enfield 650 Scrambler Classic, it looks a bit premium and subtle. Not much difference is found between the Classic and Sport. It’s just like the Classic gets a relatively low placed fender, a subtle color treatment and chrome detailing over the exhaust, rims, and engine.

Both the Royal Enfield 650 Scrambler bikes are built on the platform of RE Interceptor 650 and GT 650. So, naturally, the Scrambler bikes will get the same engine specs. It will come with a parallel-twin 648cc engine that produces massive 47 HP power and 52 Nm torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Currently, the RE 650 Twins have been launched in the global markets. The India launch is expected to be around December 2018. In India, we expect the Interceptor 650 to go for Rs 3 Lakhs and the GT 650 to go for around Rs 3.5 Lakhs (ex-showroom prices).
