Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classic and Twin Disc variants receive minor cosmetic upgrades. Prices on both the variants increase by around Rs 1500. Twin Disc variant recently got upgrades, while Classic received upgrades a week ago.
Bajaj Pulsar 150 is the oldest serving Pulsar in the range. From the first one in the early 2000s, not very much has changed. The new Pulsar still carries the same silhouette with a few modern touches and feature upgrades.
Now, Pulsar 150 receives another upgrade with few cosmetic tweaks. It comes in 3 variants – Classic, Standard and Twin Disc. Classic and Twin Disc have reportedly received the upgrades.
Twin Disc variant was launched a couple months back in India. Classic is the basic variant of Pulsar 150 and is also the cheapest Pulsar in the range.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin Disc receives a new belly pan and 2 new colour option. The options include dual-tone black-and-red and black-and-blue colours. These are the only 2 upgrades on Twin Disc variant.
Pulsar 150 Classic receives 2 new colour options – Black With Red accents and Black with Silver Accents. The accents are seen on pillion grab rail, headlight cluster, on the badging and faux vents on the side.
Mechanically, both the bikes continue with the same engines. The 149cc air-cooled engine produces 14 BHP @ 8000 RPM and 13.4 Nm @ 6000 RPM of peak torque. The engine pairs up with a 5-speed gearbox setup.

Pulsar 150 delivers a mileage of more than 50 kmpl. It’s grunty yet frugal DTS-i engine is one of the most fuel-efficient engines in its segment. High mileage figures are also evident in other Pulsar bikes as well.
Other mechanics like the suspension and brakes also remain the same. Bajaj Pulsar 150 uses telescopic forks up front and Twin suspension with Nitrox shock absorber at the back.
For braking, Classic and Standard variants use a 260mm disc at the front. Twin Disc variant receives a 230mm disc brake at the back. There are reports of the bike getting ABS feature soon. A photo of ABS test mule had recently surfaced online.
The online photos suggested that Pulsar 150 received a dual-channel ABS setup. We still believe it might get a single-channel ABS to keep costs under control.
Features onboard include Updated Heat Shield for the silencer, Always-on Headlamp, LED Taillight, Back-lit Switchgear, Digital Speedometer, Clip-on Style Handlebar, Gear-shift Indicator and Tank-pad.

The prices of Pulsar 150 start off at Rs 64,998 going up to Rs 80,746 (ex-showroom prices). It competes with the likes of Suzuki Gixxer, TVS Apache RTR 160, Honda X-Blade and Yamaha SZ-S.
