FB Mondial HPS 300 local assembling begins; deliveries also commence

The local assembling process of CKD units of FB Mondial HPS 300 has begun. With it, the deliveries of the modern Classic Roadster have begun. The bike was launched in India in November. 

MotoRoyale introduced the FB Mondial HPS 300 in India in November. FB Mondial is one out of the nine brands that MotoRoyale has introduced in India. HPS 300 is the most affordable bike from the managing brand.

HPS 300 is a modern classic roadster with a fusion of a cafe racer as well as a scrambler. One look at the motorcycle and you might feel intimated by it.

Design highlights include short fenders, a large engine belly pan, street naked body and a single touring seat. Like a Scrambler, HPS 300 also gets high placed exhaust mufflers.

Meanwhile, the local assembly process of the bike has begun. MotoRoyale recently inaugurated the new assembly line at its Ahmednagar plant. It will be bought in India as CKD units.

Meanwhile, the deliveries for the FB Mondial HPS 300 have commenced. As per reports, the bike has received around 100 bookings till now. For a much premium motorcycle from a new brand, the response is decent.

The bike is available at a price of Rs 3.37 Lakhs, the cheapest in MotoRoyale’s lineup. At this price, it takes on the likes of BMW G 310R, KTM 390 Duke and Royal Enfield 650 Twins. Out of this too, HPS 300 is the most expensive one.

As of now, the bike is retailed through 7 showrooms of Motoroyale. The company plans to add around 13 more dealerships across the country, by the end of the next year.

FB Mondial HPS 300 comes with a 249cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. The engine produces 24 BHP and 22 Nm of peak torque. For transmission purposes, the bike comes with a 6-speed gearbox.

HPS 300 comes with 41mm USD forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the back. Braking is handled with 280mm single disc at front and 229mmmm disc at the back. For better safety, it also gets a dual-channel ABS setup.

Features onboard include digital speedometer, tachometer, halogen headlamps, LED tail light, dual-channel ABS setup, low battery indicator and engine kill switch. It seems to be equipped with adequate features based on the nature of the bike.

Other brands from MotoRoyale include Hyosung, MV Augusta, Norton and SWM. There are a total of 9 bikes right from Rs 23.7 Lakhs for Norton Dominator to Rs 3.37 Lakhs for HPS 300.
