The first KTM Duke 125 has been delivered in India. Here is a walkaround video and the sound of its exhaust note of the entry-level KTM naked motorcycle. It is available across all 450 KTM dealerships in India.
KTM Duke 125 finally made its debut in the Indian markets. At a price of Rs 1.18 Lakhs (ex-showroom), it takes on the likes of Yamaha R15 V3 and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. Based on the specifications, it does not have any direct competition.
Here is the first walkaround video of the new Duke 125. The first delivery has been made in a Bengaluru Showroom, and the owner has made a video. However, not all dealerships have commenced the deliveries. At some of them, the bookings are still going on.
A lot of dealerships have just started receiving the units for sale and test ride as well. You can head to your nearest KTM showroom for test rides now.

KTM Duke 125 gets power from a 124.7cc liquid cooled engine, which is not BS-6 compliant. The engine produces 15 BHP @ 9250 RPM and peak torque of 12 Nm @ 8000 RPM. The power figures are higher than the regular 125cc commuter bikes.
For transmission purpose, the baby KTM uses a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
The exhaust note of KTM Duke 125 is identical to the other KTM bikes. The aggressive exhaust note is quite distinctive from other performance bikes as well.
The estimated mileage of the bike is around 45 kmpl on an average. With a fuel tank of 13.4 Litres, it offers a riding range of up to 600 kms.

Suspension duties are handled by Upside-Down Forks at the front and adjustable rear-monoshock. It uses the same steel trellis frame of the other KTM motorcycles.
For braking, it uses front and rear disc brakes and Bybre Calipers at the front. For extra safety, the bike comes paired to a single-channel ABS setup. No 125cc bike at the time gets this performance mechanicals.
Features onboard KTM Duke 125 include TFT Digital Display, Split LED Headlights, ABS, Liquid Cooled engine, LED Taillamps and Front and Rear Disc Brakes.
The colours available on Duke 125 include Orange, Black and White colour options. The loud decals and funky graphics are all carried over in this baby KTM.

As said earlier, no 125cc motorcycle in India is performance oriented. While Bajaj Auto plans to bring affordable Pulsars in India, there are chances it might launch the NS 125, which was launched in Poland last month.
