Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC is set to be launched in India on 28th May. The off-roading motorcycle gets a bigger 1200cc engine, like the Speed Twin.
Triumph is set to launch the Scrambler 1200 in India, as a bigger capacity alternative to the 900cc Scrambler. We, in India, will get the base XC variant, and not the top-spec XE variant.
The prices of the Scrambler 1200 XC will be revealed next week. The bike has been unveiled in India, and thankfully, it does not miss out anything from the global-spec version.
Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC gets Thruxton’s 1200cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin cylinder engine. The motor is tuned to produce 90 BHP at 7400 RPM and 110 Nm at 3950 RPM, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

For suspension purposes, the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC uses Showa 45mm fully adjustable USD Forks at the front and fully adjustable Ohlins Twin Shock absorbers at the back. The front and rear suspension travel stand at 200mm.
Braking is handled by twin 320mm Brembo disc brakes at the front and a single 255mm disc at the back. Dual-channel switchable ABS is also equipped onboard.
For a better riding experience, it gets cornering dual-ABS, Traction Control, Five riding modes (Rain, Road, Sport, Off-Road and Custom) and an adjustable suspension setup.

Features onboard will include keyless ignition, heated grips, USB Charging Socket and a new TFT instrument console, turn-by-turn navigation and a new feature called GoPro integration.
