India Bound 2020 Hyundai Creta Spied Again – Spy Shots

The 2020 Hyundai Creta will compete with MG Hector, Kia Seltos and Tata Harrier and is expected to launch by March 2020.

It is no surprise that the new Hyundai Creta will make a debut at the 2020 Auto Expo in India next year. And with the launch close, the South Korean manufacturer has been spotted again taking the test rounds of next-gen Creta.

The 2020 Hyundai Creta shares the same platform as the recently launched Seltos and is expected to launch in India by March next year. The upcoming SUV gets split headlight design and this same pattern is followed on the taillights too.

As seen in the picture, the next-gen Hyundai Creta gets newly designed 5-spoke alloy wheels, turn indicators on ORVMs and Integrated roof rails. The camouflaged vehicle also showcased the taillight cluster which is the same as the Chinese markets.

The new-gen Hyundai Creta gets revamped design on the exteriors and interiors. The SUV will compete with the likes of Tata Harrier, MG Hector and the Kia Seltos. And it is safe to say that the new SUV will definitely pack more creature and tech features since its competition comes fully loaded.

Since the spy shot was of exteriors, the interiors remain unknown. But we expect the SUV to offer a plethora of features. For starters, a large Tesla-like touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, three-zone climate control can be expected. A 360-degree camera, new leather upholstery can also come with the model.

Further down, the centre console also came completely revised with new switchgear, an electronic parking brake and push-buttons for the automatic gearbox, along with a large, covered storage bin. 

Furthermore, the upcoming SUV can see BlueLink technology which was seen in the Venue first. It helps you to Remote Start/Stop/Door Lock-Unlock/Climate Control/Light Control can be operated along with it provides you with the Real-Time Navigation, Vehicle Theft and Destination Set in Link.

Under the hood, the new-gen Hyundai Creta will borrow the BS6 compliant engines from the Kia Seltos. The vehicle will use 1.5-litre petrol and diesel motors and a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine is expected onboard too.

The power figures for the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor and the oil burner remains the same at 115 bhp. The torque figure comes out at 144 Nm and 250Nm respectively. Transmission options will stick to 6-speed manual and an AT gearbox.
