2020 Kawasaki Ninja 650 Receives Styling Update And Gets Bluetooth

The 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 650 has gotten styling updates with updated graphics and a much more sharper design. The sportsbike receives creases throughout the body which gives the bike an aggressive look.

The full LED headlight design set up inspired from Ninja 400 and Ninja ZX-6R. The windshield is redesigned and the tank also receives sharper lines. However, the tank capacity is 15-litres like before and so is the split style, step up saddle.

What’s new is the Bluetooth connectivity feature and so is the equipment upgradation. Like the 4.3-inch colour TFT display and the background colour can be selected in black or white scheme. No need to worry about the brightness of the screen as it adjusts itself to the available light.

The 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 650 will be available in three colour options – Lime Green/ Ebony (Kawasaki Racing Team), Pearl Blizzard White and Metallic Spark Black. The lime green colour is available on Ninja 400 which is another popular colour choice among the consumers.

The Rideology app helps the user to check the call or mail notification, riding log info and among others. The display screen includes some details like:

Suspension on the Kawasaki Ninja 650 is handled by telescopic at the front and monoshock at the back. Braking wise, it gets twin disc at front and rear gets single disc brakes.

The updated Ninja 650 is expected to come with a BS6 compliant engine and will come with six-speed manual gearbox. Talking about the prices then the updated bike will be costlier than the older Ninja 650 and Ninja 650 KRT edition which are priced at Rs 5.89 lakh and Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.
