Nissan India has launched the Datsun GO and GO+ CVT at an introductory price of Rs 5.94 Lakh and Rs 6.58 Lakh respectively. Both GO and GO+ are also available in the options trims that are T(O) and the price for the same stick at Rs 6.18 Lakh and Rs 6.80 Lakh respectively.
The Datsun GO and GO+ are the most affordable cars that come with a CVT Gearbox at this price. The gearbox ensures smooth shifting on the highways, hills or whether you are driving on the city roads.

The cabin of the Datsun GO and GO+ gets a large 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. It comes with connectivity features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The cars also receive Voice Recognition.
The manufacturers claim that the CVT transmission is smooth, unlike the other automatic transmission technologies. It provides smoother shifting of gears, this indicating quick acceleration when you are pushing the throttle. The cars also get a Sports mode which enhances the driving experience and mostly helps you in overtaking.
Safety features on the Datsun GO and GO+ CVT include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist, reverse parking sensors, speed sensing door lock and Vehicle Dynamic Control System. The latter is the first in the segment.

Both the cars with CVT gearbox gets a two years warranty package. With an added amount, the customers can also opt for the optional five year warranty package that is available in all trims.
There are a total of six colour option available with the GO and GO+ CVT – Ruby Red, Vivid Blue, Bronze Grey, Amber Orange, Crystal Silver and Opal White. The cars get some best-in-class features, including best-in-class ground clearance (185 mm), cabin space, boot space and head room with better driving ergonomics.
