Bajaj Chetak has made a comeback in India in 2019, in the ultra-modern version with an electric motor. It is Bajaj’s first electric scooter offering to enter the emerging electric two-wheeler market of India.
As of now, Bajaj has only unveiled the scooter, revealing its features and styling. While the scooter uses a 4kW electric motor, the battery specifications have not been revealed yet. Everything will be revealed in January 2020 while the scooter is launched.
Fresh reports from Team-BHP suggest that the electric Bajaj Chetak will come at a price of Rs 1.1 Lakhs. The official prices will be revealed next year, but Bajaj has confirmed that it will be priced very attractively and competitively. Also, we are not sure if these prices are ex-showroom on-road prices.

It will get two riding modes and the real-world riding range on Eco Mode will be 95 kms and the Sport mode will offer 85 kms.
About the availability, the new Chetak will first be launched in Pune, following that in Bangalore. Both the cities are technologically advanced when it comes to electric mobility, as these two have many charging stations as well as many other electric two-wheelers. There is no official confirmation on when Bajaj will launch the Chetak in other cities.
