The 2020 next-gen Honda Jazz is much more rounded in design and actually brings back some of the original cuteness that we saw with the second-gen Jazz.
Honda will be unveiling the forth-generation Jazz at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show in just a couple of weeks time. The 2020 Honda Jazz in much anticipated for, as it has been spied several times even in India and is an important model for our market. Ahead of its official debut however, the 2020 Honda Jazz has been spotted yet again in a completely undisguised form.
On first sight itself, the face of the 2020 Honda Jazz appears much more rounded and sedate in comparison to the sharp lines we are used to seeing in the current-gen Jazz. The Jazz has always had a MPV like design but that was not necessarily helped by the sharpness in design. This more rounded off look goes back to the second generation Jazz and brings back some cuteness that the Jazz has been associated with historically.
Honda has downsized the grille on the 2020 Jazz. Larger and larger grilles are becoming a trend but do not necessarily look good always. Thankful, Honda has been mature with the design of the new Jazz. However, it still gets a very large rakish windshield and new sweptback, curvaceous headlamps with U-shaped LED DRLs and squarish LED projector. The bumper has also been redesigned with vertically stacked fog lamp housings.

There are also some shots of the interiors of the 2020 Jazz. It gets a completely digital 7-inch driver information display. The dashboard too has been redesigned with circular knobs for the climate control and a large infotainment display. The next-gen Honda Jazz will be sharing its underpinnings with the next-generation Honda City. Even in the past, the two models have shared quite a lot, from powertrain to interior components.

As for what will be under the hood, the next-gen Honda Jazz will likely be offered with a 1.0L VTEC Turbo petrol engine and a 1.5L iVTEC petrol engine. There’s also a twin-motor hybrid engine option on the cards. What is unclear is whether Honda will keep a diesel engine option for the Jazz. If Honda updates the iDTEC motor on the next-gen City to BS-VI compliance, it will most likely be offered on the Jazz as well.
