In the minor updates for the Royal Enfield 650 Twins, the bikes now get clear lens headlight and reflectors on the suspension forks.
Going by the customer feedback, Royal Enfield has introduced clear lens headlight on the 650 Twins. It replaces the Fresnel lens which was reportedly very low in terms of visibility. The new headlamps are brighter and will offer more illumination at night.
Also, the Twins now get reflectors on the telescopic forks. This will help the motorcycle to be spotted easily. The dealerships have started receiving the updated bikes. We are unsure if the sold bikes will get this update complementary or for some small amount.
With these minor updates, the prices remain unchanged. The Interceptor 650 starts off at Rs 2.55 Lakhs going up to Rs 2.76 Lakhs. The Continental GT 650 starts at Rs 2.70 Lakhs going up to Rs 2.91 Lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi prices). Recently, the prices of the Twins were increased.

Talking about the waiting period, it is down by almost 1-2 months depending on the variant that you choose. In some of the cities, there is no waiting period. Royal Enfield had recently confirmed that they plan to increase the production of the Twins.
The Interceptor 650 is an old-school roadster while the GT 650 is an original cafe racer. While the Interceptor gets a comfortable riding posture, the GT 650 offers a slightly dedicated one because of its low-height clip-on handlebars.
Both the bikes use a 648cc air-cooled parallel-twin cylinder engine. The engine is BS-4 compliant and produces 47 BHP and 52 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Royal Enfield has started testing the BS-6 versions of the Twins and they are likely to be launched at the 2020 Auto Expo.
