The 2019 India bound Audi A6 just got launched at a staggering price of Rs 54.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It only comes in a sole petrol engine which will make a tough choice for people since most buyers in this segment are inclined towards diesel engines.
The all new Audi A6 carries a plethora of things on the inside with the latest technologies and handy feature. It also gets a reworked styling on the outside which gives it a meaner design and it is increased in dimensions too.

Engine
Yes, the new Audi A6 gets a 2.0-litre, four cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine which comes with mild hybrid system technology. It is available in 45TFSI trim only. The motor churns out a whopping 245 bhp along with 370 Nm of peak torque.

Th transmission is handled by a 7-speed automatic gearbox. The engine is BS6 compliant to adhere to the latest emission norms which will come into effect from April 2020.
Exteriors
The new-gen Audi A6 gets sharp lines and creases which gives it a sharper look. Also, the grille upfront is now larger in size and the LED headlamps now get slimmer and it easily gets integrated with the grille. They look a lot meaner now than its predecessor.
The LED Daytime Running Lights adds a touch to the car and the A6 also gets redesigned front and rear bumpers. The rear bumper also gets chrome treatment and a thing chrome strips join the LED taillights.
The side profile of the new Audi A6 receives a fresh design and the premium sedan sits on 18-inch alloy wheels. The overall silhouette of the new-gen Audi A6 remains more or less the same.
Interiors and features
With the exteriors, the interiors of the Audi A6 also receive an overhaul treatment. It gets a fresh new dashboard design and you will see twin screens, one for the instrument console and one for the centre unit.
The upholstery is also better design and now comes in two shades – Pearl Beige and Okawl Brown. The cars gets a new three-spoke multi function steering wheel along with cruise control.
Feature-wise the Audi A6 gets a virtual cockpit system along with the latest MMI system. It gets four zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, Bnd & Olufsen music system, Apple Car Play and Android Auto, powered front seats with memory function o the driver side and among others.

Talking about the safety features then the premium sedan is loaded with eight airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), Electronic Stability Program, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Electronic Parking Brake with auto-hold as standard, 360-degree camera and Lane Departure System are some of the features the sedan gets.
Prices
As told earlier, the price for the new-gen Audi A6 starts at Rs 54.20 lakh and the top model will fetch you up to Rs 59.20 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi. The sedan competes with the likes of BMW 5 Series, Mercedes E Class, Jaguar XF and Volvo S90.
Dimensions
As you look closer, the new Audi A6 looks bigger and gets a sharp styling. The measurements of the sedan are more than before.

Variants
Unlike the older A6, the new gen offers two trim in the petrol engine. The base, Premium Plus and the range topping trim, Technology Pack. The latter comes with all the bells and whistles which comes around.
