The digital instrument cluster on both the cars is based on the monochrome unit and only comes with the top-spec XZ+ and XZA+ trims.
Tata Motor has silently updated the analogue instrument cluster to a full-blown digital unit in both Tiago and Tigor. Both the cars were supposed to receive this update with the facelift but the Indian manufacturer has put the units before their launch.
Tata Tiago and Tigor digital instrument cluster is a monochrome unit. It features a digital speedometer in the centre along with driver information display. The fuel gauge appears in the right hand side and tachometer on the left side. It also comes with the door ajar warnings, engine temperature, distance to empty indicator, digital clock, key reminder and among others.
Be it manual transmission or AMT, all of them will receive this update. Both Tiago and Tigor becomes the first in their segment with the digital instrument cluster. However, it was the Renault Kwid which got the digital speedometer in under Rs 10 lakh segment cars followed by the recently launched Renault Triber. Also, the facelifted version of the Kwid will launch today!
