You Might See the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace in India at 2020 Auto Expo.

Volkswagen is planing to bring the Tiguan Allspace to India which is a long wheelbase version and it might replace the standard Tiguan altogether.

The Tiguan is one of the better products from Volkswagen in India but unfortunately, it never did well on the sales chart. And that’s because an asking price of Rs 28.15 lakh, ex-showroom was too much for a five-seater SUV. Also, it does not really have enough presence to justify that price either. Volkswagen is now intending to change that image of the Tiguan by introducing the Tiguan Allspace in India. In fact, you might be able to see it at the 2020 Auto Expo.

The Tiguan Allspace is the long wheelbase version of the Tiguan and it comes with a third row of seats. The standard Tiguan measures 4486 meters in length while the Allspace measures 4701 meters. Consequently, the wheelbase has also increased from 2677 meters to 2787 meters. the Tiguan Allspace is longer by 215mm and has a 110mm longer wheelbase. The Tiguan Allspace is thus longer by 215mm and has a 110mm longer wheelbase. However, because of the extra row seats, it gets a smaller boot. But its larger if you intend to use it as a five seater.

The Tiguan Allspace looks identical to the standard Tiguan, both on the inside and outside. It has only grown in length. It also carries over all the features from the Tiguan which includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, powered front seats, terrain modes and a panoramic sunroof. Safety features include a 360-degree camera, lane departure warning, park assist, blind spot detection, ABS with EBD and 6 airbags.
