Hero has unveiled a ready-to-put Rally Kit for the XPulse 200 at the 2019 EICMA. The kit is likely to be launched in India at the 2020 Auto Expo.
Hero Xpulse 200 is the most affordable adventure motorcycle in India, priced starting from Rs 97,000 to Rs 1.05 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Despite styled very closely to a dirt bike, Hero has something more hardcore to offer.
At the 2019 EICMA, Hero unveiled the Rally Kit for Xpulse 200. With this ready-to-fit kit, the Xpulse is transformed into a serious off-roader which cannot be run on the roads. It is likely to be priced around Rs 50,000 and might be introduced in India at the 2020 Auto Expo.
Starting, the overall body design of the bike stays nearly the same with no changes to the fuel tank, headlamp cowl and front beak. It gets rally-spec tires which offer extra grip on gravel and muddy roads.

At the front, you get fully adjustable telescopic forks and rear monoshock. The height of the suspension has also been increased by a bit. Not only that, but the ground clearance has also been increased by an impressive 55mm.
Further, you get a flatter seat, handlebar risers, extended gear pedal and some “Rally” decals. The engine remains the same, but the sprockets have been changed to a 12T front and a 40T rear. You also get an Akrapovic Exhaust which has definitely lowered the weight of the bike.
XPulse 200 uses a 199.5cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, that produces 18.4hp and 17.1Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both the end paired with a single-channel ABS as standard.
