Hyundai Grand i10 Now Available only in Petrol and CNG in Two Variants!

Hyundai Grand i10 will now be available in only Magna and Sportz trim with Petrol or CNG and a manual gearbox as the diesel and automatic variants have been discontinued.

Hyundai has silently given the variants of the Grand i10 a major reshuffle. They have discontinued the base-spec Era and top-spec Asta variants of the hatchback and have also axed the petrol-automatic as well as the 1.2-litre diesel powertrains. The Hyundai Grand i10 can now only be had in either petrol or CNG variants with a manual gearbox. The Grand i10 is thus only available in Magna and Sportz trim levels, with the CNG powertrain being limited to the top-spec model.

It was already speculated earlier that Hyundai will discontinue select trims of the Grand i10 to make space for the Nios. Meanwhile, the Grand i10 based Xcent sedan will also be replaced by the all-new Aura which is meant to be successor of the former and is based on the Grand i10 Nios.

As the Grand i10 continues in just two trims, the Magna trims gets the following features : 2-din audio system with Bluetooth, USB and AUX-in, steering-mounted audio controls, electrically-adjustable ORVMs, manual air-con with rear AC vents, front and rear power windows, multi-info display, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors.
